Rowan vs. First or vs. Middle name

I have loved the name Rowan ever since I heard it on the little girl on the Wicker Man (although I hated that movie) but anyway now that I am having a girl I want to put Rowan in her name. I don’t know whether or not to use it as a first name or middle name though. So my dilemma is can you suggest some names to go with Rowan and whether it should be the first or middle name. I like names similar to Rowan, that are a bit uncommon and not too girly. Thanks.

sorry- I reread your post- I thought it said you liked girly names- oops! I think Rowan Elizabeth and Victoria are great, tho! Here are some less frill names. But I did put a few that I liked that were more girly in here!

We are naming our daughter Rowen and using the middle name Shelley (after a family member).
