Agree, plain and dated but not terrible.. I really don’t like "Tina," though. Two Tina’s I’ve known stick out in my mind and both negatively. One, a bleached blonde redneck girl I went to high school with who had really bad teeth. The other, an obnoxious middle-aged, overweight woman I work with who has just god-awful grammar. Tina is a red-neck name in my mind. It’s also a slang term for Meth.

Seriously guys? Christina is in no way dull, boring or dates. Say that to the Mary’s, Jane’s and Sally’s.
I love Christina and Tina is a more creative nickname than Chrissy or Chris. Go for it!

You all do know it’s the person that makes the name, not the other way around don’t you?

The Tina I happen to know is very fun-loving, very aware of the needs of people around her, and is always smiling and cheerful.

It’s all in the way you raise her. While it wouldn’t be in my top 10 favorite names, it is just fine and if you like it, you should use it.
