Hi were expecting our 2nd child a boy in November our daughter is Sydney Marie. We love the name Casey but are not sure if its considered a girls name now? Do you think its more of a boys or girls name. Also we list some possible middle names in the comments. Thanks Courtney, John, and Sydney

I consider Casey as more of a boys name, you could also have Casen nn Casey.

Casey is ranked at 366 for boys and 528 for girls, I think it would work great as a boys name. Casey David and Casey Daniel sound good :)

I consider Casey a boy name, rather than a girl name. I like the suggestion of Casen also, with the nickname Casey. I actually love both of these names for a boy. Casey is better than the rest of your first name picks.I like these combinations:

Casey Ryan
Casey Jared (nn could be CJ)
Casey Thomas
Casey Mitchell

I have to agree with the others....I see Casey as a boys name (probably because that is my son’s name:).

i see this as a unisex name, with this spelling it’s more of a boy name, i know a girl named Kasi.
