Love Maddox Ryker vs. Like Maddox Ryker vs. Hate Maddox Ryker

Hi! I posted earlier with the name Ryker, and the consensus from that poll was you either LOVED Ryker or you HATED Ryker. I know for sure I want to use it as his middle name, because I love the Ryker means "strength". So what do you all think of Maddox Ryker? If I do, in fact go with Ryker, his middle name will be Benjamin. Please be honest. Thank you, Megan!

I am sorry but Rykers is the name of a high security prison...not something I would want to associate with my baby! If you want a name that means ’strength’ I suggest: Emmett which means, ’all containing; universal; strength’ and best of all is not the name of a prison.

2nd poster, I realize that Ryker is the name of a prison, thanks to my last poll, but I also learned that it isn’t a very popular prison, so not many people will know about it. I love Emmett, but I’m afraid it’s too Twilight. Thanks!

I’m getting a little tired of Ryker polls. you know what the people here think. use it if you like it, it’s your kid. both maddox and ryker are fine and sound great together. good luck.

Maddox is cute. I don’t like Ryker at all. It reminds me of an X-Men character for some reason.

Here are some other names that mean "strength":

Garrett
Ferguson
Gerard

Alexander (means defender of men)

If you’re set on Ryker, Maddox Ryker is better than Ryker Benjamin. I definitely wouldn’t use it as a first name.

There is a baby named Ryker at my church. He is adorable and the name is adorable on him. He’s very smiley but always wants his way. I love the name, GL!

I think it’s a kinda cool name! It’s different, but normal sounding. It’s masculine, it sounds strong, not trendy...I like it! I like that it is unique enough to stand out, but blend in too!!

DOnt worry about what else is named Ryker that is just stupid. I think Ryker Benjamin is so much better and nn Ry is much better than nn Mad.
