I don’t think you’ll get that too much. Alyssa is used enough, it can stand on it’s own. It is a very pretty name.

Alyssa is good and is common enough that people will recognize.

Hi!
I think people will miss pronounce Alyssa as Mylissa. It can happen often. People always call me Kenzie when they meet me. Also, it can be spelled wierd like my name. Its also common. I like Aly or Ann.

I don’t think too many people will call her Melissa. Alyssa is a well established name, people will know what she’s saying.
