It isn’t my favorite, but sure, why not? There isn’t anything wrong with it. I know a girl named Alba - she’s totally gorgeous. She does get a lot of "Jessica Alba" comments.
My only thing is, Alba means white and I don’t think it goes with Skye.

I like Skye better than Alba, but Alba is ok I guess. I can’t think of anything bad about it, just not my taste.

Alba actually isn’t off the wall at all. It’s just not particularly common in English-speaking countries.

Love it! It’s got the classic style I adore, but hasn’t been "discovered," yet.

Now, I always thought it was all-buh, like Jessica Alba, but in the movie of Time Traveler’s wife, they pronounced it with a long a like Al (rhymes with pal)-ba.

I like both.
I think I prefer the softer version, but there is the Jessica Alba connection that way.
Although I doubt she’ll be famous long.

I quite like it with Skye, which isn’t a name I’m normally a fan of.

That name is from my favorite book. Alba Skye is gorgeous.

Alba is a Ancient Gaelic word that means Scotland. Skye is the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland. The name Erynn means Ireland it is also Gaelic. Cairn Terriers origionated on the Isle of Skye so I named mine Alba Skye.
