Help! vs. Boy Names vs. That start with L

I posted a poll about two weeks ago with the options Laken or Lincoln as our choices, well the hubby and I have had a bit of conflict with these names now. He doesn’t really like Lincoln anymore and hates the fact that someone on here said Laken was a girls name. Personally I LOVE the name Laken, but I need more options. We also can’t decide on middle name. Tyler, Ty, Caine, Caile, Caide, and Cole are some we like, but we also like suggestions. HELP!!!!

I think Laken is a beautiful boys name.

Laken Caide & Laken Cole sound really nice.

Not sure how Laken is either sex. NOt sure its even a name? Where does it come from? But I would never use it on a girl.

I’m on board with your husband. If anything Laken sounds more feminine, but I don’t really think it sounds like a name at all, sorry. I do like the suggestion of Landon.

I love the name Landon, but I have a close friend that I went to high school with and he had that name. He would probably taunt me forever saying that I named my son after him. That’s his type of personality. Haha

Latham (Lay-tham) also spelled Lathom.

I was about to suggest this too! It has a similar feel to Laken, which you liked.

I like Luke, but that is WAY to similar to our last name, and London is great but if my husband thought Laken was feminine than I doubt he’ll like it.
