Can Callie stand as a full vs. name on its own, or does it sound vs. more like a nick name?
I was just wondering if Callie sounds like a full name or if it sounds like a nickname? My hubby wants a full name and I like the nickname sound, so i am trying to find a medium since this was a name we agreed on at one point. We just don’t like any full names that go with this name, so I was just curious! Thank you!

Callie can stand on its own but I like it better as a nickname. What about Carolyn/Caroline nn Cali

Callie is a name of it’s own of Greek origin, which means "beautiful". I know people with this name, and it is their full name. If you love this name, go for it! It stands on its own!

I think it could definitely stand on its own! I have a friend that named her baby Kallie. Another full name version would be Callista, like Callista Flockhart. :) (Which is also Greek origin meaning beautiful) GL

Thanks everyone for trying to add full names, but as I stated above in my description, we have looked at all possible full names and don’t like any of them for Callie.

Our new baby girl is Callie Reese. I didn’t like any of the full names for Callie either, and I think it works great on its own. =)
