I saw this name on this site a little while ago and fell in love, but some people were haters. Any GOOD, legit reasons to avoid it, or can I contiune my love affair. it’s pronounced like ehv-ah-lie, not EE-va-lee, just fyi.

I think the fact that it will constantly be mispronounced and misspelled for a lifetime are good reasons to avoid it. Evanlee is pretty, just don’t like the spelling.
Why not Avalee?

you would have to explain to everyone how to prononce it and then the proncantion might ofset people and take a while to grow on them if it ever did

I have a good reason...If you need to write out how to pronounce it than you shouldn’t name a child that...I would have pronounced it EvaLeah

Sorry, I meant Evalee above, not Evanlee. Avalee is pretty too.
Continue your love affair. I think it’s a pretty name. Pronunciation may not be completely intuitive but that’s true for a lot of names these days. Here’s a couple other names that it reminds me of:

Reminds me of Everly which I love so I like this too. Maybe if you use the ly ending ppl might be less likely to mispronounce it? GL!
