Valentia vs. Alana vs. Bianca

Hi, Please help. MY family is very Italian and I want my daughter to have a name the represtents our heritage, but my boyfriend is Irish, I dont know if the first name and last name will mesh well. The last name is SUCHY. Any suggestion?????

Use a name that is originally Italian but that has been used in the UK so much that it sounds typically English. Bianca would be a good choice. Alana doesn’t seem any particular ethnicity so that might be good. Valentia wouldn’t be so good, I think. You’ll get a lot of people guessing Valentina or Valencia (like the oranges). It’s annoying to spend your life correcting people.

Valentia is gorgeous and rarely heard of. However, all three are nice and would sound fine with your last name.

Alannah (spelled this way) is an irish name. Just thought I’d point that out. =)
