Baby Name Poll Results

My husband and I love Katherine and Alessandra. We even discussed using the runner up name as the middle name. However, I would like to reserve the runner up name for a potenial second baby girl name. The problem is that an acquaintance has announced her name as Katherine Olivia on Facebook already after going to dinner several times with me and hearing which names I like. She had wanted Peyton and Elizabeth and then all of a sudden she picked Katherine Olivia. Should I go ahead with Katherine Olivia even though I am due after her or respect her name choice even though I feel she got the name from me and she is really the one in the wrong. Katherine is my middle name, my mother’s name, my grandmother’s name and my husband’s grandmother’s name. Pick the name based on this back story. We will call Katherine "Kate" or "Katie" and Alessandra "Ale" or "Aless".
