Kristen vs. Kristin

Which spelling for a girl? I know Kristen is a boys name in northern Europe, but in the US its a girls name. And Kristin is a girls name in Europe but misspelt in the US. We don’t live in either country right now, but with my husband’s job, it could happen. Do you think we should go with Kristen or Kristin? Thanks!

I live in the US and see it spelled both ways.

I prefer Kristen.

Spell it Kristyn then you won’t have any worries wherever you end up.

I’d say go with Kristin. Its a girls name in both places and they both look pretty anyway. GL!

my name is Kristen (I’m a girl living in the US) and my name is always misspelt! My best friend is Kristin and people always try and spell her name with and -en. I’d say go with whatever spelling you like better, no matter which country you end up in.
