I really dislike Jesse. It reminds me of a nn for Jessica. I also think of it as western/really country (Jesse James)

I love Jesse for a boy! One of my best friends in highschool was named Jesse, great name!

I always picture Jesse as a girl. For a boy it makes me think of a cowboy.

What are your other options? The issues I can think of are it’s not too masculine of a name nor does it sound professional when your son is older. But, if you really like it then do it!
