its fine as a nickname while shes small, but really no good as a first name or as a nn for a teenager/adult-no one could take her seriously imo.then theres babe, the pig of course!

I thought of the pig too. But I also thought about her as a teenager. "Hey Babe, come here"....not such a great idea.

I think that a name like babe would come with a lot of teasing... especially if she happens to be well endowed, develop early, or if she turns out not to be a babe. I think the worst of it would be in high school/middle school but that it could cause sexual harassment problems in the work place as well. Not a kind name for your child.
