Boy vs. Girl

When you hear the set Molly and Ryan, would you assume Ryan is a boy or girl? We want to use it for our baby, but are unsure if it will be associated with the opposite gender. Thank you for voting!

Great! We are in fact expecting a baby boy but have heard Ryan being used more and more lately for a little girl. So glad to hear that it still sounds like a boy’s name. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Anytime I hear Ryan, I think boy- in a sib set or not.

Ryan is a boys name. Why would it be associated with Girls? If the baby is a girl, either give Molly a more unisex (although Ryan isnt, its a boys name) or have another more feminine name for the other twin.

I would think that Molly & Ryan were sister & brother. Cute names!

I’d assume Ryan was a boy.

I’ve only known of one girl called Ryan, despite its popularity on here.
