Emme Grace vs. Emily Grace nn. Emme vs. Emerleigh Grace nn. Emme

My husband’s great grandmas name was Emme, and we both love the name. Should we name our daughter Emme or give her a full name with the nn. Emme. So far the ony full names we like are Emily and Emerleigh. Thanks~ Stephanie & Bryan

Those names sound nice, but a bit older. I like Emily, And Emma too :). However if your going to choose a name you need to consider, is it too common? is it too old? will the child be teased etc.
Emma is short and sweet
Emmeline is abit older, not suited for a young girl.
Emmelyn is nice.
But I think If you want nicknames like Emme, and want the perfect name, You could consider Emilia? It suits a kid, and all ages. Also it is not old or too common. I hope this is helpful :)

My daughter is Emerson Grace nn Emme. We thought the traditonal spelling was best but I also liked Emersyn.
