Track vs. Kinder

I posted a poll a couple days ago and me and my husband have had a lot of time to think. We both really like the name Track and I really like the name Kinder, but we do not agree on it so I’m on here again to get your opinions if we go with Track his middle name will be Kinder. If we go with Kinder his middle name will be Track so we are planning to use both names either way. I want to just go with Track so we are both happy, but who wants to regret the name they gave their child for the rest of their life. What do you guys think? Should we go with Track or Kinder? By the way Kinder is proundced Kin-Der. Thanks Sarah and Ben

Kinder Track, to me, sounds better than Track Kinder. Go with Kinder Track! :)

Kinder Track. And if the name doesn’t grow on your husband, then you could just call him Track

Yes you both are really right we could always just call him his middle name personally I think Kinder would be cute because it is not over used

Track is the better option, as Kinder is German for child (kindergarten is often used as a name for childcare, for example), and when your son is a grown man, or even a teenager, I doubt he will want to be called "child".

Have you considered Trapper?

I can imagine my adult son being called Track, but I can’t imagine calling him Trapper. I guess I probably could imagine calling him Trap, but I have to say I don’t like that one. I don’t really agree with you and your percepection of Kinder. It is not prounced the same way and Kindergarten. I could imagine calling my grown son Kinder. I think it would actually age well with him.

Quite frankly I don’t like either, but between the 2 Track is the better choice.
