which vs. name do vs. you like?

Hi, I made a poll earlier about how strange it would be to have double i’s in a name, such as in Kristiina, because in my language two i’s are necessary to get the correct sound (Kristina would be KRIS-tin-a). Most people said to go with the original spelling (with two i’s). There will be a list in the first comment of the names we like. Thanks again!

I would say no to
Kiili
Miina
Miila
Liisa
Well, basically all the short ones

The longer names look fine with the double "i"s

I understand this is a cultural spelling/meaning, but do you live in the US? I think they all look terribly misspelled, and I think the majority of people would think that too. Maybe you could use a double i spelling as a middle name?

i think it looks kind of funny i think you shoulld just go wiht the orgininal spelling.

I think it’s totally fine to have a cultural name! Think of all the people out there who have really ’bizarre’ cultural names that no one can pronounce. With exception of maybe Miila and Kiili, all of these names are really common in the US.
My favourites would be Kristiina and Sabriina. GL!

would you get the correct sound if you replaced the "i" for an "e"? (Kristena, Lesa, Mena, etc.) I just don’t think any of the names look right with the "ii"
