help me vs. knock sence vs. into my husband!

My husband is going crazy. We have two beautiful daughters with nice, normal, pretty names: Bethany Elisa(6), and Alanna Faith(4). Now, I’m pregnant again and we’ve decided not to find out the sex until he or she is born. My husband (Chris) told me the other day that he made a short list of names that he would like to use for the baby. His list? Boys: Que, Danger, or Road. Girls: Adrenaline, or Target. Can you PLEASE help me?? I really dont know what to do.. I think he’s being ridiculous, but he is actually serious. What would you do?? - Evelyn

Danger could be a cool mn for a boy... and maybe he would compromise and use Adaline for a girl instead of Adrenaline...
I suspect that if you give him some time he will come to his senses on his own.

Honestly, my first thought is that this post is fake or he’s messing with you

or he’s still in the not wanting to come up with a real name phase yet.

I know people bugged me all the time about names and finally I started telling people if it was a girl I was going to name her Cupcake and if it was a boy I would name him Skippy. People finally started to leave me alone about names, ha!

Tell him the name needs to match the other children in some way and that the baby needs a name that will look professional on resumes, etc. when he is an adult.

Different names can be picked but they can still be somewhat "normal" -- e.g. Hunter, Archer, Gage.
