Baby Name Poll Results
"Charlie" (Charles) Robert vs. Sebastian Robert vs. Jack Robert
Thanks for all the great feedback earlier! My top pick "Charlie" (mn Robert) was the poll winner which remains my favorite. I only wish the other nn wasn’t "Chuck." No one seemed to think the association with the Charlie Brown character would be a problem as far as being teased? Prior comment person named "Charlie" wouldn’t be taken seriously but not sure why. Any addtl feedback would be appreciated before a final decision is made. My husband recently came up with our newest consideration, Sebastian...whatya think yes/no. We both still like Jack to as it is classic (as consensus seems to reveal). Someone mentioned Jack Robert sounds like "Jack Rabbit" tho...yes/no? THANKS for the vote/comments everyone!
The Top Baby Name is...

Charlie is a cute name, and possibly when he is older and is not called Charlie anymore, he might get the nn Chuck. I have never been a fan of Sebastian, and I love the name Jack! It is such a handsome name!

The mom of the one Charlie I know well, said that some of her friends gave her a bad time about Chuckie like the doll from the horror movie, but she just said, "It’s Charlie; not Chuckie!"
Chaz is another alternative nn if you want one.
I don’t think a Charlie would have any problem being taken seriously.
Plenty of professional men are called Charlie, and he could always go by Charles.
There are some girls being named or nick named Charlie/Charley, though I don’t know any personally.
Anyway, we ruled out Charlie ourselves and went with.....Jack.
I just think it’s a great, All-American name, with much the same qualities of Charlie, and we get lots of compliments on it.
It is quite common, as is Jackson, so that’s something to keep in mind.
I’m not personally a fan of Sebastian. Always seems a bit fey to me.
So, there’s my pros and cons for you....I think you have two great names, and you should confidently pick your favorite!
Plus, Charlie and Jack would be great for brothers!
