I love the names Aldin and Julian, but my husband doesn’t. But I really have my heart set on these names. He’s kinda warmed up to Julian, but he hates Aldin. What do you think? -Rose

I like both a lot but if your husband hates Aldin I would find one you are both okay with. I also don’t think they’re the best combo, both ending in -en sounds. So maybe Julian and something else for the middle.

Neither are my taste. Aldin sounds very old-fashioned. Julian is ok but feminine sounding. It’s not a strong and masculine name by any means. I like Julian Aldin much better than Aldin Julian though. If your husband does not like either too much, it may be nice to compromise somewhere though.

I think Julian is a really cute name. Just don’t like Aldin that much, kind of reminds me of Alvin. Maybe pick a middle name that you and your husband both like?
