If you hadn’t clarified I’d have pronounced Elissa with an ’ee’ sound. I don’t like it with Louise though, too many l and s/z sounds.

I would never mispronounce Elissa - it’s spelled just like it sounds! I like the name, but I didn’t vote for it because it doesn’t go that well with Louise - too many Ls and Ss.

I was kinda thinking that same thing with the middle name . What middle name would go good with it?

What sort of names do you like? Classic/traditional, old-fashioned, modern, trendy? That would be helpful.

I like older names but not too unique. Hmm.. I want a middle name that flows really nicely maybe marie?

I love Elissa, a girl I knew in high school had this name, and we all loved it...her name was Elissa Joleen

Marie is hugely popular (so much it has become a filler) as a middle name. For some reason middle names stressed on the last syllable seem to go well with Elissa (n my opinion).

How about:

Elissa Joanne
Elissa Roxanna
Elissa Michelle
Elissa Rhiann
Elissa Francesca
Elissa Annette
Elissa Katharine
Elissa Corinne
Elissa Rosanne
Elissa Rebecca
Elissa Jael (jay-el)
Elissa Georgia
Elissa Bethan

Elissa is fairly uncommon to me, so other names that have the same feel as it (to me, at least):

Rhianna Louise Gibbons
Estella Louise Gibbons
Helena (my daughter’s name) Louise Gibbons
Kendra Louise Gibbons
Arianna Louise Gibbons
Anya Louise Gibbons
Ivy Louise Gibbons
Sienna Louise Gibbons
Brenna Louise Gibbons
Elodie Louise Gibbons

And perhaps Joanna Louise Gibbons?

I love the name Elissa. I had a student once who had that name, so it is not very common, but it is beautiful! I knew how to pronounce it, so I don’t think it will be that big of a deal.
