believe me! i know. it is so hard to find a mn to flow with Athens and i have a million fn i’d like to use but hubby has saying rights on this one (i get to name our next one, hoping for a girl!) annnd he said his fn has to be Athens! and he has to approve the mn! haha! (: thanks for your input tho!

Even though it’s a bit different, I like Athens Koda best. They sound really neat together. Athens Colin, to me is a mouthful and Athens Scott is just not as cool. Even though it sounds like your husband is in naming control, I do think you should have the most approval because it is your baby too. Please try and think of how your child will feel about his name as well...but I’m sure whatever you both pick will be wonderful.

Athens is not really used commonly as a name but I think it is one that I would use on a girl. For some reason its strikes me as being feminine.

thanks for you thoughts! he gave me a list and i picked athens out of his list. its a name that grows on you and i can see how some people would think its a girls name derived froma athena or something but i think its more masculine then other baby boys names i hear these days!
