Change vs. Her vs. Name?

Hi, we have 4 children Archer Zack (9) Carlee Eve (7) Asher Zane (3) and Miley Victoria (1 month). We don’t really like the name Miley like we used to. We let Archer pick Asher’s name so we had to let Carlee pick Miley’s name. Should we change it and if we do what do we name her? Please help right now we call her baby-bean! Thanks, Jake, Ivy, Archer, Carlee, Asher, and Baby-Bean!

Hm.. this is a difficult one. Did you like the name Miley before? I don’t blame you for changing it....Your seven year old most likely named her after Miley Cyrus..I know my 7 year old Savannah would.Lol.

So,you let a 6 year old name Archer name his brother Asher?
I’d say Carlee did better than that!

Call her Victoria if you really don’t like Miley any longer.

Archer and Asher are very very close. I would think you were questioning that rather than Carlee and Miley.
I see no problem with Miley. It goes well with your other 3 childrens names. But if you really don’t like it call her by her middle name like the 2nd poster suggested.

What about Millie, Lilly, Billie or Tilly? I like the name Miley but I understand if you don’t. Also with Miley and Carley you end up with a children’s TV theme - Hannah Montana and iCarly!

If you change her name, keep it close to Miley or something Miley could be a nickname for. Maybe:

I am pregnant with my fourth daughter and have chosen the name Carley for her. My other daughters are called Lola, Lexa and Tilly, which personally I think all go well together. I think Tilly or Lola goes well with your family. I would go with Tilly as it is fairly similar to Miley.

She’s 1 and has been called Miley for 12 months. Really? I would never let my children pick MY children’s names. That’s just silly. I would take suggestions but naming them, completely different.

At some point you must have liked Miley thought to actually go through with the name and name her that when you left the hospital. Just a thought.
