Lola Grace vs. Lola Belle vs. Lola Rae
Do you think by making Lola into a double barrel name, it alleviates some of the social stigma that comes with Lola? Its such a cute and classic name that we love. The song references do not bother me at all and her classmates won’t know them.

i don’t know of any stigma associated with the name Lola, it’s quite popular where i live, but it’s still a beautiful name, i think making it a double name makes it prettier, bt if you’re doing a double first name i think it needs a hyphen, so that people know that the two names are meant to be said together, i don’t think it’s an old lady name at all, the Lola’s i know are 7 and 3

Hey I named my eldest daughter lola-rae bk in june 2005
it was becouse I allways loved the kinks and lola was my favourite song and rae after my fave film (true romance-the cafe where they eat pie) its also ray davis kinks singer name but more female!! Its such a beautiful name
Lola and is v popular in america italy and so I say go for it so much better than the dull names some people use
Its pretty and cute when a baby, trendy as a teenager and foxxy as a woman all round winner!!
As for double barrelled its tradition (I was picked on at school for) in our family to double barrel
Names I have one myself as does my youngest daughter tallulah-mae
