Catalina vs. Alessandra vs. Giovanna

We come from an Italian background and want to incorporate the hertiage into the name. Will be joining sisters Sofia (pronounced Sophia) and Alycia (Alee-cee-ah). We are up for more suggestions. Nothing is set in stone! Thanks!

I love Alessandra, but I’m wondering if it is too similar to Alycia.

Wow. I named my 2nd daughter Alycia (same name pretty much). I honestly am leaning towards Alessandra today, but it seems to always change. Catalina is on the charts still too and my husband loves Giovanna, maybe because his grandfather is named Giovanni. Thanks!

Alessandra is one of my favorites as well, I do wonder if it will be too close to Alycia. Perhaps I will ask around some more.

Poster #2: Sorry, must have missed you earlier! Alessia is gorgeous, but very close to Alycia. We just couldn’t go with it. Arianna is the name of my husband’s sister so we don’t want to reuse it. Giorgia is pretty though. I think it might have made the list!

It is interesting you should bring the name Gemma up. I had never know it was Italian until we started looking for names for our third girl! It is very pretty though. We just want something that feels more "italian" to us if that makes sense.

I like Catalina. Alessandra is to close to Alycia for me and I’m not crazy about Giovanna

Catalina is very beautiful, that is why it is still on our list! Giovanna is somewhat of a family name, so we can’t rule that one out. Personally, it is my husband’s fav because of his grandfather (Giovanni). Perhaps this vote will help me convince him otherwise!
