Kyle vs. for a girl?

I met a little girl a few years ago named Kyle,and thought it was adorable,im having my third daughter,and i really want to name her Kyle. Sisters are Madison Taylor(4) and Riley Jennifer(2). Thanks-Becca&Andrew.

I honestly think Kyle is a boys name. I would personally go with Kylie. A different variant of spelling Kyle is Kiley, I would go with that spelling for a girl.

No, this is not good at all. I know it happens occasionally... Paris Hilton has an aunt named Kyle... but I think it creates far more trouble for the girl than it’s worth.

Kyla would be a lovely alternative, and you could certainly call her Kyle as a pet name.

That being said, though, I really think Kyla/Kyle/Kylie, etc. would really be too similar to your older daughter Riley for this baby. If you decide otherwise, Kyla is the way to go.

I think Kyle is a boys name but one of my favorite names is Kylie
