I have a niece named Rebecca...of course there are several nicknames that she could have. But, everyone calls her Rebecca - if you don’t like nicknames, that’s fine. I say pick the name, full name you like best and use it! Family, friends, teachers, etc. will follow your lead. GOOD LUCK!

I agree with the first comment, if you constantly introduce her as the full name, everyone will call her that, not a nick name. I definitely think you should go with the name you love the most

I agree with the 1st comment as well. If you don’t give her a nickname, people won’t call her anything besides Gabrielle.

I have three children and neither of them have ever been called a nick name! People will use the name you call them. Always go with the name you love so that you have no regrets later. Marissa is a beautiful name! Best wishes!

Go with what you feel is right for your baby girl. I really like Marissa and Gabrielle is beautiful. I agree with earlier posts, call her by her full name and others will do the same. Congrats!

Honestly, introduce her as what she goes by and everything will be fine.
I think Marissa Gabrielle sounds much better than Gabrielle Marissa. It flows better. I love both names and am not leaning more towards any one of them. Its just that Gabrielle makes a better middle name because of which syllables are stressed.
If you really wanted her to be called Gabrielle, there is nothing wrong with going by a middle name. :)
