Blake & Bekah: vs. Born: June 2

I am thrilled to announce the birth of Blake Nathaniel and Rebekah Liesl. They were born June 2nd at 4:26 and 4:31 AM. Blake weighed 4lbs 4oz and Bekah weighed 4lbs 2oz. They were born 5 weeks early, but they are both surprisingly very healthy. They will remain in the hospital until they reach 5lbs (this is routine for all preemies). Both Blake and Bekah have blue eyes, and neither of them have any hair yet. :) Thank you all for the help with their names! It meant so much to me! Thank you all.

Third poster, we’d original been looking to give them middle names that started with the same letter, but it just didn’t work out. So we went with our names - Nathaniel and Liesl (I’ve gone by Lisa ever since I can remember - my parents probably started that).

Anyway, again, thank you.

Curious ... what do they weight now (it having been a week since they were born)?

Blake is now 4lbs 6oz. Unfortunately, Bekah has lost weight (4lbs exactly). The doctor said this is normal though, and she should regain it within another week or two. Thanks.
