Tysen James Ramiro vs. Tysen James Gene vs. Tysen James ????????????????

I would like to pick a second middle name for my son that is in honor of my grandpa who is 90 years old...he is not in good health and may pass away before my baby is born in April. Here is the problem....my grandpas name is Eugene...goes by Gene. I don’t like this name at all and he doesn’t even have a middle name. My grandpa was a Civil Court Judge in the state of NY for many years. The name Ramiro means Judge so I thought that would be kind of a nice honor. On the other hand my middle name is Jean as well as my mothers...PLEASE let me know what you think. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I don’t like James and Gene next to each other, it is difficult to say. That being said, I really like Ramiro a lot. I think that having a slightly longer name thrown in there helps make the name flow better. It is a nice way to honor your grandfather without using his actual name.

What about the middle name Justice? It’s a nice, strong name and at the same time goes along with the judge theme...just a thought! I like the name Gene also!

I really like Tysen James Ramiro or Tysen Ramiro James. It has a great flow. However, behindthename.com says that Ramiro is a Spanish form of Ramirus, a Latinized form of a Visigothic name derived from the Germanic elements ragin "advice" and mari "famous", it doesn’t say anything about it meaning Judge.

You could use names related to Eugene, I found these: Eoghan, Ewan, Ewen, Euan, Hugh, Hugo, Owen.

Tyson Eugene ??? Why two middle names?

Judge could be a mn possibility (like pp suggested Justice) but Tysen James Judge may be way too tricky to say. You would almost have to separate the J’s like:
James Tysen Judge
Otherwise, I say stick with Tysen James Ramiro...it’s a nice honor to grandpa.

I just really don’t like the name Eugene or Gene for a man even as a middle name...I never called my grandpa by his name it was always pop...but of course that wouldn’t make a very good middle name. Thanks for all of your comments. Someone asked why two middle names? Why not? I love James I think it flows with Tysen well...but it really has no meaning to me...I mean I know a bunch of guys named James but there is no one in my family by that name. I just thought it sounded nice...the second middle name I want to have a special meaning. Thanks everyone.
