Help! My husband and I have gone back and forth on names, and finally we decided on Elizabeth Grace with the idea that we would call her "Ellie." We’ve told everyone this, but there is still just something about this that I don’t love. Should I just accept her name and hope I love it later, or should we change it...

I think Elizabeth is a beautiful, classic name! However, if your having second thoughts, how about Elise Grace, NN Ellie. I love the name Elise, and it ages well. Good luck!!

I wouldnt..i just accepted my daughters middle name Khloe Marie... since i couldnt think of anything else my husband liked and i hoped id just fall in love with it and i never did and shes 2 now and still to this day i dont like it and wish i found something better..but in ur case i like the name and the nn ! gl!

I think it’s beautiful. Do you like it? If you like it, even if you don’t love it, you’ll start to love it when you meet your daughter. If you just don’t like it, then maybe change it.

unless you’re in labor right now, give it a few days to sink in. If it still feels wrong, go back to the drawing board

I was still unsure of our daughters name as we left the hospital with her... But now I am loving it. Sometimes it just takes time to settle in. Unless there is another name you love, I think it is beautiful.
