I would stay away from middle names that start with R because it’s going to get rather awkward to say with Clara’s ending. So even though I love Clara Renee and Clara Rose, I won’t use them. Clara Lynn is another choice, but Lynn is common and when put together with Clara, gets quite tongue-twisting. I like classic and elegant names too.

No that would not make you self-centered! A lot of people name their kids after themselves. My mom gave my older sister her middle name and my sis gave it to her oldest daughter. It’s almost like a tradition of sorts!
