Any vs. Suggestions vs. ?

I want to name my son after my brother, John Kennedy Calhoun, who died about a year ago. (My son is due on John’s birthday). I don’t know how I should go about honoring my brother’s name. I am considering giving my son the initials JC because that was John’s nickname. Any Ideas?

How about John Patrick nn Jack? You honor your brother with John, but give your son his own identity with Jack.

You could go with John Calhoun (or Jonathon Calhoun as a version) if it isn’t to painful to use this everyday. If you’d rather stick with the initials and give him a different name you could do one of two things- use totally differnt names, or use John or Calhoun as one of the names.

Example-

John Christopher
Jacob Calhoun

Alternate names for J.C.

Joseph Charles
Jameson Carl
Joshua Caleb

Good luck!
