Logan and Leah vs. Logan and Lena (lay-nah) vs. Logan and Lyla

I just recently found out I’m having fraternal twins! The doctors think they’re a boy and a girl. I absolutely love the name Logan for a boy, but I’m finding it harder to narrow down names for a girl. What do you think?

Lena is pronounced Lee-nah. Lay-nah would be Laina. I voted for Leah. GL!

Lee-nah (Lena) is a common name in the Middle East, and it is commonly pronounced as such. I’m sorry, but I’m afraid your friend pronounces her name wrong. I double checked the phonetic spelling. It’s not the first time I’ve seen that happen. I know a girl who’s name is Ariel and she pronounces it R-ee-ll not air-ee-ll, like it is intended to be pronounced. My middle name is spelled wrong, Breann. And my sister’s first name is spelled wrong Kayle instead of Kaylee (or one of the other accepted spellings). Things like this happen. So with that in mind, I still say Leah is the best out of your options. Good luck again!

Not to be rude, but her name is not "wrong." My friend is hispanic and in spanish, her name is pronounced lay-nah. Just because it’s spelled the same, does not mean it’s the same name in another culture. Lena, in the form I am using, is derived from "Elena". As such, if I use this name, it will be pronounced lay-nah.
