My 14yo daughter has a friend with this name so I’m finally used to it...but I find that I still don’t like it. I always feel as if it sound like someone making fun of the name Evan, or doing that kid’s song -- Evan Evan, Bo Beven, Banana-Fanna Fo-Fevan, etc. It just doesn’t sound like a real name to me.

It sounds made up.

Not NO...oh HELL NO....this name is terrible for a boy or girl. It reminds me of the song Kevin Bevin be nevin fee fi fo fevin Bevin...
Remember those stupid songs kids make up about eachothers names? Well my brothers name is Kevin (which is nice for a guy) but we would make fun of him and call him BEVIN...its a stupid name I would wish upon no child male or female.

Evin would be kid of cute since it is already pretty much a girls name...I like it spelled like that...give her a feminine middle name like
Evin Noelle
Or Evin Simone

I think bevin’s lovely! I’d pair it with something more recognisably feminine, though, as a middle. Bevin Rosalind, Bevin Lorraine, Bevin Penelope, for a few examples.

NO Way. Try Devin, Evan, Eden or Belen.

I say not for a girl, sorry.

Sorry, but no.
I do like the suggestion of Eden and was going to suggest it myself.
Best of luck!

No for a girl
No for a boy
It sounds completely made up.

I do realize Bevin is a legitimate feminine name, but for me, it’s too close to the masculine Bevan to use, personally.

However, if you love it, go for it. Like Lola suggested, I’d pair it with an ultra-girly MN. I like the combo Bevin Isolde (although I’m not sure how many others would recognized Isolde as feminine!).

Best wishes!
