Lindsay is my first name, and I have had a surprisingly hard time with it. I have to spell it for everyone, as there are SO many different spellings. It has the same cheerleader image as names like Brittany or Tiffany. I wouldn’t advise you to give it to your daughter. Lauren has a more flexible image and fewer spellings. Your daughter would be less likely to change to her middle name (like I did) if she had a name that would mature with her instead of remaining 15 forever like Lindsey does.

My name is Lauren Nicole. I was actually named after Lauren Bacall and I love my name & middle name! Stick with Lauren Nicole!
