Chad MAYBE. ChadWICK? No way. It’s like Bostwick.. total old lady’s cat’s name! Plus, Dylan & Chadwick def don’t go together. I don’t like the middle name options only because you chose such a unique one for Dylan. Gabriel is just ok. I’m not a huge fan, but how does he feel about it? Do you guys have any other names you can compromise on? A lot of guys get really excited and tell the whole family that the baby’s name is what they want it to be.. but that usually cjanges, so don’t worry. But you may both have to drop your first choices to come to an agreement.

I like the name Chadwick, but it doesn’t sound right with Dylan. Think about which nickname you want for your son (everyone eventually gets a nickname whether they want it or not). Would you rather he be called Chad or Gabe or neither? It’s important to agree together so that neither of you have to regret the name. Could Chadwick or Gabriel be used as a mn instead of a fn?

my last name is chadwick, and my sons name is matthew. his teacher at school thought chadwick was nice to call him and now all the kids in his school call him chadwick. i HATE it. it drives me nuts. honestly, i love it as a last name but think it sounds trashy as a first name. just my humble opinion.
