Beck sounds too much like Becky - a girls name. I picture someone named Dean as being clumsy and awkward, and I just don’t like the way it sounds! Sorry! Also, the name Dane would be okay if you were naming anything but a child...I do like Connor, Aaron and Noah.

We see the opposite when we think of Dean because our minds go to Jensen Ackles (he playes a character named Dean in "Supernatural"). But if everyone else has bad first impressions with the name that isn’t good.
