charlie jane vs. charlotte jane vs. jesse charlotte
i am wanting the name charlotte or charlie as a first or middle name after my grandad who died last year. i like the sound of jane with it and also i look at the meanings of names and it means grace of god. but i really like the name jesse(more so than jane) which means gift. please help!

well Jessie can be a girls name, the female version of Jesse is Jessie with an "ie"

Jessie spelled this way is a girls name..Jesse is more for boys. Like Jesse James...I really like Charlie Jane but I think it would be better for a nickname for Charlotte, Charlene, Charlise...remember your daughter will grow up and she may not like that she has a primarily boys name. Charlie is a cute nick name but may not transition well into adult hood.

I had a best friend growing up who’s name was Charlene. She was called Charlie when we were young, but she made us all start calling her Charlene when we got to middle school. She was a girly girl and hated the boy name.

Charlotte Jane is gorgeous and classic. I much prefer Jessie as a nickname for Jessa, Jessamine or Jessica.
