It could be Cal lee ope like cantalope or it could be knd of like Penelope, Cal LEE oh pee or Cal lee opee. Ive never heard of it so im sure you could pronounced it anyway and people wouldn’t know if it was wrong.

I’ve always said Cal(afornia) ee(yore) ope (like dope, i guess) Cal-ee-ope. no offense meant.
