2 part question please read vs. Autumn Holly? love it/hate it? vs. is it too close to Haley
Hi, we’re expecting our first child together and my first child. We have picked out the name Autumn Holly. First question is do you like it? Does it flow? Second question is: He has a daughter named Haley from his first marriage. Is Holly to close to Haley or does it even matter since it’s her middle name? Please give advice. tia

I think it sounds okay but like previous poster said it doesn’t quite sound like a good match with holly because they make me think of two different things.

I don’t think it matters and I think it sounds good but it is a little off..maybe because of what pp said!
I like Autumn Brooke.

I agree with the pp. The middle names are not a big deal at all, but Holly doesn’t flow very well with Autumn (which is a beautiful name by the way!)

I don’t think it matters at all, since it’s the mn.
Also agree that it is a bit odd to pair Autumn with a winter name like Holly, but if you have a good reason then don’t let that stop you. They are both lovely names.

Personally I would change the mn though.I do think it’s too close to Haley and it doesn’t seem like a good match with Autumn for me because Holly immediately brings to mind Winter/Christmas so to me it just seems strange to pair it with Autumn.
