Adelynn vs. Addison vs. Adelaide

Hello. I am having trouble figuring out which of these names to name my daughter. I love all three, and she will have a nickname of Addie, but everyone will call her both. My husband likes the names too, and so we’re stuck for which one. Also, any middle name suggestions would be much appreciated!Can you help? Thanks, Kate and Stephen Shepherd.

Oh I see the problem you are having! Hard to choose. I picked Adelaide because it is less common than the other two, so may make it easier in school, but all are great names.

I wouldn’t do Addison just b/c of it’s popularity and Grey’s anatomy (one of the drs was named Addison Shepherd).

I voted for Adelaide b/c it is less common.

i would toss ADDISON ... because it reminds of ADDISON montgomery- shepherd of ’private practice’ ... so the similarity to your surname is striking.
the other two are gorgous and would both flow great with CLAIRE ...

Adelaide is 1 of my fave names so Adelaide all the way!!!
