Is it okay to name my b/g twins with names that start with the same first letter? I’ve never wanted matchy names, but the only two names my husband & I really like both start with the same letter.

Depends on the names...if they are Noah and Noelle than no. But if they are Olivia and Owen then yes. I think it depends on how close the names sound too eachother rather than the letter. Like for example Jayden and Hayden would not be good twin names. However Cara and Connor would be. What are the names you like?

I say that if you love the names, go for it! I don’t like twins having the same initials just because they are twins and parents think it’s cute to use matchy names. Buut if you love the names and they are different enough (no Noah and Norah, or Fenix and Felix, lol) use them.

I think if you’re choosing the names because you really love those names that’s fine. I don’t like it at all when parents choose the matchy names on purpose because they think it’s cute.
