Love the name Logan on a girl... what about Logan and Spenser, keeping the "boys names for girls" theme? Or Logan and Landy would be cute :)

I know WAY too many boys with this name. Not good for a girl at all!

Perhaps, Lottie, Leona, Loren instead of Logan?

Lottie and Ava
Lottie and Olivia
Lottie and Emma

Leona and Charlotte
Leona and Scarlett
Leona and Erica

Loren and Kaitlin
Loren and Sierra
Loren and Sadie

I think this would be a horrid girls name! I agree with the poster who gave you all those L name suggestions and I think Leona and Olivia would be an adorable twinset.

GL!

I like Logan and Peyton or Tatum....wdyt?

Logan is BOYS name, keep it that way. And also, its very popular. Imagine her in high school and having boy class mates with the same name?
I met a girl named Logan- it does not fit girls, I swear.

Rowan? Is not as bad... Nova, Eden, something completly different?

I like the suggestions of Spenser and Peyton, thanks

I don’t think Logan is suitable for a little girl. Would you consider:

Lorraine
Laurette/Lauretta
Laken
Laguana/Laguanna

I know a girl named Logan and it fits her perfectly. It is a great girls name

Stick with Logan....I love it!!! Go with Logan and Peyton...cute twin girl names.

Thanks for the suggestions but they arnt really my style. But thanks anyways

You seem pretty set about Logan, why did you even ask for opinions about it? And if I saw twins named Logan and Peyton, I would think they are boys right away to be honest. What about using Logan as a middle name and calling her that. For instance, Amanda Logan "Logan" that why, when she gets older, if she wants she can go by her first name/more feminine name.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Why don’t we all start naming our boys Anna, Lorraine, Holly, Sarah and etc?
Maybe in the future all the names will be unisex or considered the opposite sex!

Seriously, why do people think it’s alright to name a girl a BOY name? You don’t see other mothers naming their boys girl names, do you?
Feel for these children...

Question- would YOU like to be named Logan, John, Michael, Spenser, etc?
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I’m not set on it i am pretty sure about it and the suggestions for changing it have not been ones i like. I dont really want her to go by her middle name because i did that and it was always very confusing for me and my teachers.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Well it would help if you told people what kind of names you like. Trying to give suggestions for GIRL names instead of Logan is a little hard when you know nothing about what kind of names the poster likes (besides you liking Logan)
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Well i went by Jo growing up because i thought Katherine was to formal. To me logan is unisex.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Logan is NOT an unisex name anywhere in this universe. Maybe in a paralel one...
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
My sons name is Sidney if that makes a diference. The only name i love is Logan but i do like Spenser and Peyton for girls also.

I had 3 boys named Logan in my class...it screams I’M A BOY. Go to babyname.com and look for names that sound like it, but for girl, they have a search feature that will help. I see too many little girls getting teased at school for having boys names like Ryan, Payton, Eliot, and yes Spencer. It’s not fair to them and its not going to be a talk you want when you daughter comes home in tears beong told shes a boy because YOU gave her a boys name. babies don’t stay babies forever, its cute when they can’t talk but not when they hate you.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Hahahahhahah to the poster above me. My sister who is 14 name is Ryan and She has never once been teased about it. The names dont make the person the person makes the person. I think Logan is great for a girl i am considering it for my next daughters name.

Lets all take a nice hard look to the right on the page, most popular BOYS names are:
1.Noah, 2. Mason, 3. Ryan, 4. Landon, and 5. LOGAN......BOY NOT GIRL....you must be one very confused mother. Will you dress HER in boys clothes too? Push HER for football? I mean really...You have the gift of two little girls, and your going to waste it.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I am not wasting my gift. I will love my girls it doesnt matter if i named them Sophia and Madeline or Logan and Peyton they will still grow up loved and happy and in the end that is all that matters.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
How about Charlotte(Charlie...thats a boys name) and Payton? That way she has the option to be more girly or not. But Logan is too strong of a name for a girl, it sounds harsh
posted by Kate :: 12 years ago | report
Not a fan of charlotte i typically prefer more traditionally boys names for girls. Plus i think it would be wierd with my son Sidney. The middle names will be femininel so if they decide not to go by there first name they can go by that.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
It would be even weirder to have your son named Sidney and have DAUGHTERS named Logan and Peyton!!!
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I actually like it i love sidney on a boy. I like Logan for a girl but not on a boy. I think Sutton would be nice.

I don’t know why people are bothering to post here, clearly the poll poster has made up her mind so just leave it be at this point you guys.

For the record I believe this poll is fake if only because I can’t believe someone would act like this if they really wanted peoples opinions.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I dont know how i have acted to make you belive this is fake. I have polietly said that i didnt like the suggestions offered. I just wanted to know what people thought i will take it into consideration.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Charlotte is traditional but okay...Hmmm...your not much help in what you do like or what your looking for so heres what I got.

Logan Cathrine
Logan Fiona
Logan Edith
Logan Elizabeth
Logan Lydia
Logan Barabra
Logan Annabel
Logan Bianca
Logan Evelyn
Logan Mary

Other sibling names, not sure if you want boyish names to of not but.

Nicolette
Daniella
Brielle
Britton (said like Great Britian)
Avery
Rylin/Rylan
Avalon(the place from King Arthur)
Jade
Liviana(Liv-ee-ah-nuh) nm Livi/Livvy
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I really like Avalon and Rylin. thanks also i didnt say i liked traditional names i said i liked traditionally boys names. Such as Sutton Ryan or Bryce
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Even though you give them all the love you can, they can, and most likely will, be bullied at school and/or other places. People can be very cruel and those hard words and actions will mark them forever.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I dont understand people on this website you think every slightly unique name will cause kids to be bullied. Every kid will get bullied at some point in their life whether you name them Logan or Olivia. You are trying way to hard to find problems in what i think is a good name for either gender.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Go with Avalon and Rylin! That would be a cute name combo for siblings. You can use the nicknames Ava and Ry(super cute!) or no nicknames, whatever you perfer but Avalon and Rylin are greay, not super popular but not weird.
posted by Maegan :: 12 years ago | report
I like Avalon and Rylin and they are added to my list though I am not sure if i will actually use them. It is a big decision and i cant make a decision on names i heard 5 minutes ago.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
People on this site don’t have problem with unique names, they have problems with BOY NAMES on girls, which is NOT unique!
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Okay but you kind of missed the point of my comment which was that kids could tease your kid because of anything and no matter how hard you try you wont be able to stop it.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Poster 34, your logic is just odd to me just because kids are likely to be teased regardless of their names doesn’t mean parents shouldn’t be careful when picking names, if my child is teased I don’t want them coming home looking me in the eyes with tears streaming down their faces telling me they hate me because of what I named them.

Poll poster, Logan makes me think of Wolverine a big burly man with a beard starting to grow in so it is most definitely a boys name there’s really no question about that, just looking at the most popular boy names attests to that.

How about London? It’s quite similar and is unisex.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
London is nice and i do like it but i dont really want to start the trend of naming my children after places since i already have a son named sidney i think it would be wierd if i used both of those and then didnt use another place name.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Perhaps change London up a bit? Maybe Lyndon which is also a unisex name.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Lyndon is nice and i will consider it though i dont absolutly love it.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Your son is Sidney and your daughters Logan...Now to me that just seems like you mixed up your kids at the hopital. You did start a trend with your naming, switching genders! But whatever floats your boat...
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
Um im slightley confused Sidney was traditionally a boys name.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I would say no to Logan on a girl since it is very popular on Boys. But some suggestions
Sydney / Sidney
Casey
Morgan
Mackenzie
Willow (nn Will)
Taylor
Quinn
Blair
Devon
Max
Madison

Most of these are boys names but are now more common on girls.
posted by guest :: 12 years ago | report
I think Logan is adorable as a girl’s name! One of my best male friends is named Logan, and I’ve contemplated naming my daughter Logan (when I have one) as he’s been such an important part of my life. Give her a girly middle name and let her choose which to go by.
For a sister, either stick with the unisex path (Spencer, Tristin, Peyton, Austen, Sutton) or make it really girly (Elizabeth, Katherine, Victoria, Amelia, Lilliana). Good luck!
