For a boy it is Jason :) probably because of The Waltons, lol. For a girl it is Jessa, it stands for my parents initials! JE is dad and SA is mom and last name is S.

Dawson, Jamie, Avery, and Beckett are on my guilty pleasure list for boys.

I like Dawson a lot. But, if I do end up having kids with my current BF, I won’t be able to use it because his surname ends with "sen."

Jamie and Avery, I LOVE for boys, but most people identify them as girl names so I can’t use them.

Beckett is just a cute name. (:

Kyler and Sawyer for boys, they are different but I don’t think trendy like a lot of the made up names are right now.
Jade and Brynn for girls. Nice classic names again that aren’t too popular but not old and boring either.

Two girls’ names that I have begun to love recently are Charlotte and Aurora. I’ve always loved the way Charlotte looks written out and after some acquaintances named their baby girl that (5 years ago) I really noticed how much I like the way it sounds. Aurora I began liking for 2 reasons. There is a street in a nearby city named Aurora and every time I’d pass it I’d think of how I like the Au sound, then I’d think of the Aurora Borealis, which I was lucky enough to see twice. The other reason is I like the meaning (Dawn) and a friend has an adult daughter with this name and she’s just an amazing young woman.
For boys I have begun to love Sebastian, Theodore, and Levi. My Dad had a baby brother named Theodore who only lived for 8 hours. Obviously, I never knew him, but I always wondered about him. The name Theodore was not common when I was growing up and I thought it sounded so good and I love the nicknames Ted and Teddy. When I was pregnant with my first son a French professor tried to talk me into the name Sebastian. I liked it, but not enough at the time to use. Then last year I visited France and our hosts’ son was named this. He was such a fun and nice guy and I loved the French pronunciation of the name. I came to love the name Levi the more I heard it. And once again, I have a positive association with the name from a really great guy our family knows.
