Maliah Shea vs. Love it vs. Not so much

So, I have been searching for months for a perfect girl’s name. I wanted to use a name in honor of my great-grandmother whom I was very close with. Her maiden name was Addison, so I considered using that but, didn’t love it. We called my great-drandma "Ma". I came across this name and thought it was perfect. I wanted a soft and sweet name. It’s pronounced ma-lee-a. So, it includes "ma" which I think is wonderful. Addison was a little hard sounding to me. What do you guys think? Do you love it too??

The Top Baby Name is...

Name Votes
Maliah Shea Marcott 2% (4 votes)
Love it Marcott 58% (99 votes)
Not so much Marcott 40% (68 votes)

Love it! I think it’s a great way honoring you great-grandmother while also choosing a name you love and being original.
It’s beautiful and flows really well!

Would her given name, or middle name, not work? I’m not wild about Addison as a girl’s first name either. And even less so since it has become so trendy. Maliah is pretty...

For those voting not so much...why? What would you suggest?

Poster, I think there’s someone voting more than once in the polls. It has been happening these times...

Malia is a lovely name, but please take off the silly h at the end. It’s unnecessary.

Thank you, I think you are right. I have come across some down right rude people on here and other’s who just like to play games.

In regards to the spelling, that’s how I came across it and it made sense to me because that’s how you spell Mariah, and Maliah is pronounced the same way only with an "l" instead of an "r". Malia is nice too.

These times there are some serious trolls here... and it’s obvious someone’s voting more than since, seeing some polls have a ridiculous amount of votes in only one option while other polls barely have votes at all.

I prefer it with the H int he end, by the way. Malia... annoys me.

I think I like the H also.
I wish that individuals would be more respectful and not mess up polls. :-(

I like the sound of the name but I’m not too crazy about the spelling.I think I would like it much better as Malia Shay.

It didn’t use to be like this... but I still come here because despite the rude people, there are ones that really want to help each other.
And whoa! Where did all those votes come from? Suggest you post again later...
