I’m not a fan it dosn’t sound like a name and the fact that its from the hunger games will mean its going to be reconizable from that series and your child may get teased down the line.

Sorry but Finnick doesn’t appeal to me. There are other authentic Finn options from which to choose: Finnegan, Fintan, Finnian, Fingal, Finley, Finbar etc...GL.

your child will be seriously dated everyone will be like oh yeah you where born in 2011-12 they’ll know becuse that’s when the books where super popular and there’s no way you didn’t take the name from the book.

We are expecting our son in July, and that is actually the name we picked. We aren’t announcing until his birth because I don’t feel like hearing people complain about it. He will know that his mother (who is a writer and a literary nerd) and his father did in fact get the name from a book series that they both have loved since 2008.
