Jaxson Riley vs. Jackson Riley
My husband wants to name our son Jaxson but I literally despise it! I like the name Jack but he says Jax is more manly.
Do you think Jaxson Riley or Jackson Riley is better?

Caitlin -- Jaxson looks trashy. No offense. I like weird spellings, but I wouldn’t curse a kid with them. Only a character. (We’re authors.) I like Paxton like Paxxton, but it looks trashy. Jackson is much better. (My little brother’s name is Jackson Carter ___.)
Kenzie -- Defintely Jackson. No one will spell Jaxson right, and he’ll hate you for it.

Jackson.
Jaxson isn’t a name it’s a misspelling.

I would go with Jaxson. It looks and sounds hip. After all, if he hates it when he gets older, he can spell it the way he likes. My name is Sandy and as a teen I changed the spelling a million times...So what if legally it’s Jaxson..He won’t walk around with his birth-certificate glued to him....I say go with something cool....Jaxon!

I prefer Jackson, and you can always spell his nickname Jax if you like.

Def Jackson Riley. Jax is ok as a nn (which you can use with either spelling), but Jackson looks more professional for an adult.
