Which carseat do u think is better? vs. Graco Safeseat vs. Graco Snugride

This is not a baby name poll. I am asking a carseat question which is very important. I have an older car (’96 Chevy Lumina) with no latch system for the carseat. Which car seat would be a better choice for me, the Graco Snugride? Or the Graco Safeseat? Whichever I choose I will have to depend on the lap belt and metal locking clips to get the base as tight as I can. Please let me know if you have an older car and which you chose...Also if you just want to say which carseat you think is better please vote above. Thank you~ Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You should look at the NTSB car seat ratings - they’re rated on safety and ease of use. Here’s the link - http://www.nhtsa.gov/CPS/CSSRating/Index.cfm

My sister in law has the Graco Snugride and I looked it before and it has one of the top ratings. GL!
