Effie sounds very much like a nickname to me. It’s adorable, but I can’t really see an adult woman going by Effie. I like how Effie Ravena sounds, maybe short for Stefanie Ravena?

Effie is a classic name.. it is of greek origin..
and was in the top 1000 thru 1959... so now you all are bashing a classic name spelled the classic way.. thought classic names were only bad if you changed the spellings???

I’m not bashing the spelling or contending that it’s not a classic name.

I am simply stating that Effie is an absolutley horrible name to give a girl.
